Phoenix, AZ, October 9, 2007 --- RC Cabinets, a Tempe-based cabinet supplier for production and custom home builders, announced today the acquisition of the company and appointment of Robert Boscamp as president. The company serves many of the valley’s top-ranked home builders. It distributes and installs several cabinet brands as well as manufactures its own line of custom cabinetry. Boscamp joins the privately-held company with reputable experience from founding and directing multiple technology companies and initiatives during his 30-year business career in Arizona. “We are pleased to add Bob’s experience in growing companies,” said Ron Coon, Chief Executive Officer of RC Cabinets. “We welcome his leadership in serving our customers and developing new opportunities in a changing market.” Boscamp is an experienced entrepreneur with a commitment to innovation. “Phoenix is one of the best markets for homebuilding and there is room to grow in this industry,” he said. Boscamp is improving technology for field staff, expanding efforts to address green building trends, placing greater emphasis on safety and training programs, and expanding support for the remodel and custom homes markets. “It’s our goal at RC Cabinets to invest in innovation and technology, as well as our people to better serve our customers and be prepared to grow when the market for new homes rebounds,” said Boscamp. Boscamp held executive positions with major corporations including Arizona Public Service, Equifax, Comfort Systems USA and Hunt Power. Boscamp began his career as a science teacher who in 1977 launched Enercom Inc, a national energy consulting firm. He subsequently launched two additional companies; EcoGroup, Inc. and Tour Guide USA. Boscamp received his bachelor of arts from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona where he sits on the Advisory Board of Directors for the Center of Leadership at ASU W.P. Carey Business School and the Del E. Webb School of Construction Leadership Research Advisory Council. RC Cabinets was founded in 1986 and has grown to more than 200 employees.
