 “FREEDOM SALUTE HONORS CEREMONY”
Plaques Donated to 450 Soldiers Helps Honor and Thank in Special Ceremony

Tucson, AZ, May 27, 2008 - RC Cabinets, an Arizona cabinet supplier for production and custom home builders, helped make the recent arrival of 450 Army National Guard Soldiers back to the US from their recent deployment to Afghanistan special by participating in the “Freedom Salute Honors Ceremony.”  The event held Saturday June 7, 2008 at the Pima Air & Space Museum in Tucson,  Arizona was designed to honor and thank the Soldiers for their service.  The cabinet company helped by donating an individualized wood plaque for each soldier.

The Freedom Salute Honors Ceremony is of the largest Army National Guard recognition endeavors in history.  It was designed to publicly acknowledge Army Guard Soldiers as well as those who have supported them.  The 3-4 hour ceremony included the presentation of the individualized plaques in addition to the normal military precessions.  The plaques were the only personalized item in the mix, and were provided by RC Cabinets and their manufacturer OakCraft Cabinets, also out of Arizona. 

Presented in a three-part ceremony, the plaques were handed out by Bob Boscamp, President & CEO of RC Cabinets, Biagio “Gino” Fiasche, Business Development Manager (Tucson),  and John Sanchez, Vice President Business Development.   Also in attendance were Military Generals, Chiefs and Warrant Officers.
Boscamp said, “This particular opportunity was RC Cabinets’ and OakCraft’s way of thanking our Arizona troops for their services, and enabling us to honor them and their families with a memorable item they can proudly display for years to come.”

The token of appreciation was the first of its kind from an outside company in a military ceremony like this.
